I Reused Decorations From My Wedding to Create a Sweet Romance Styling.
A Brief Introduction
Okay, so first an introduction. I’m Rachael and I am the marketing manager for the Tailrace Centre. I am the face (or voice) behind the @TailraceCentreWeddings Instagram account and I put together all the styled shoots you see here on the blog and on Instagram.
Last year, I got engaged on the 21st of March and tied the knot on the 30th of October (click here to read about my experience of getting engaged/married during COVID). As a perfectionist who loved putting together all the details for my wedding I was not going to let all my lovely decorations go to waste. But I also didn’t want to be the person who completely recreated their wedding.
So I took my white cheesecloth table runners (Spotlight), my glass candle holders (Dusk), my leftover nude taper candles (Southern Lights Candle Co) and my table numbers and seating chart (Sea and Paper) and used them to create a new look.
Sweet Romance in the Chapel
We believe your first wedding decision should be your venue. Once this is booked the rest falls into place and provides direction for your style and the things you will need.
Over on our Instagram, you decided that our next styling should be in our Chapel Room and that you would like to see a long table styling.
Our Chapel room is perfect for weddings with under 80 guests. We set this room up for 50 guests and in our opinion that’s the rooms sweet spot for long table settings.
Enough tables to make the room look full, but with space for all your other elements like your cake table, present table, dance floor and photo spot.
