Finding Inspiration for this Romantic Late Summer Tassie Wedding Styling.

When looking for wedding inspiration, often the best place to look is the world around us. Pay attention to the little details of the world that make your heart sing and incorporate those details into your wedding day.

For this wedding styling the inspiration came from blackberries and brambles, overgrown fields and golden sunlight.  A little wild, a little earthy, but sweet and sweet and romantic.

Captured by Cameron Jones Weddings and created by Tailrace Weddings at the Tailrace Centre, Launceston, this is one wedding styling to add to your summer and autumn wedding mood boards.

Styling the Wedding Tables: Creating the Romantic Look.

Working with a colour palette of earth browns, deep berry hues, whites and blush pinks, we collaborated with a team of incredible local vendors to create the look. Chestnut and Fleece supplied the gorgeous cocoa french linen napkins and Lily Flowers sourced beautiful blooms for us from local Tasmanian flower farmers. They were even able to source thornless blackberries for us! To keep the wild look we placed the flowers in little bud vases. Bud vases are our secret weapon for styling a wedding on a budget!

We placed these elements upon long tables covered with crisp white linens.

White taper candles and tea-lights in blush holders from our own styling cupboard were dotted down the length of the table.

For the table numbers we used our black acrylic numbers with a wooden base. These were created for us by the incredible team at Silver Belle Design. We loved the way the black table numbers stood out on the table and complimented the darker plum and blackberry hues mixed into the bud vases.

TIP: Why you Should Create Space on Your Wedding Tables

For this look it was important to leave space and keep the flowers feeling airy and whimsical.

Space is an important thing to have on your wedding tables. Your wedding reception is first and foremost a meal and there are lots of practical items that need to fit on you table during the event.

You also want your guests to be able to see and talk to the people they are sitting with. While a huge arrangement can look beautiful, your guests will often wish they could move it elsewhere so they can talk.

Styling the Room: Welcome Sign, Cake & Bridal Table.

Blast Balloons and Parties provided our styling with the most gorgeous welcome sign and white round cake plinth which we styled by draping white fabric on one side. Blossom Cakes by Rhi created a gorgeous two-tiered white textured wedding cake which she styled with a silk blush ribbon tied in a romantic bow.

These items were placed with the bridal table against a window backdrop to create a beautiful focal point for the room.
